    Hi Erik,

    Would it be possible for me to add some wording on this page:

    http://prntscr.com/ghrkyy

    If so, where do I do it? I'd just like to add some text here to make it clear what each category covers, as people seem to be getting this confused. And as it's so difficult to change a category once chosen with your system, we would like to add copy here as a prompt.

    Thanks

    Hi. It is a simple page you can customize in the WP admin > Pages > Search for "Create New Listing" page.

    Yes this works but then the same wording shows up underneath every submission step. I don't want this obviously. http://prntscr.com/gi5p0x

    Please can you give me another option?

    Thanks

    Hm. Use Text widget instead then and a proper widget logic condition.

    Ok, can you help with the widget logic condition?

    I wouldn't know where to start!

    Can create a text widget, no worries. :) Where should the text widget live? In the Dashboard section?

    Put the widget into "Content Top":

    http://inventorwp.com/documentation/user-guide/layout.html

    and use this widget logic condition:

    empty($_GET)

    Hi Erik,

    Loving your quick response! Thanks sooo much!

    Is that all of the code?

    I can only see: empty($_GET)

    Or could I simply get the widget logic to amend the type in this screengrab:

    http://prntscr.com/gi6hlp

    I would be great if you could maybe consider making this part of the process more 'changeable' if a user gets their category wrong. It's a real pain in the neck when a user gets confused and selects the wrong category, as we have to redo the whole listing again.

    Will you consider this in the next update? Then we won't have to muck about with all this wording!

    I'll have to create an 'idiots guide' to signing up to the website so that we can try and avoid this happening, however, you'll always get one slipping the net and this is a pretty time consuming flaw with your template at the moment.

    Thanks

    Hi Erik,

    Please get back to me on this please. I need to get this right on my livewelldirectory.uk site, so when I create the South African version it is done. I am really frustrated by your support response times, I think you need to get help with it if you're on your own. Please can you? This is a real let down of your whole product. I want to keep using your template for other countries as we expand and launch elsewhere, but this really puts me off.

    Thanks and look forward to hearing from you soon!

    Hi Krissie. How exactly can I help you? Have you tried the widget logic condition I sent you?

    Krissieg replied

    Hey Erik,

    The widget logic condition you sent just doesn't seem complete though? Is it literally that empty($_GET) code? I can't see anything else if not. So I need you to supply the full code if there is more. Thanks

    empty($_GET)

    Hi. You can combine it with the is_page() condition. You can either use the page ID or its slug.

    Something like this:

    is_page('create') && empty($_GET)

    Read more in the documentation:

    Can you just supply me the correct code please? I can't work this out without help. I've waited weeks for help on this, so please can you just give me the code? Also, if I input wrong code, the whole site goes down, which I cannot risk.

    Thanks

    I just sent it to you. What else do you need? I don't understand.

    So you're telling me, if I enter this code:

    is_page('create') && empty($_GET)

    It will change that wording? lol I doubt it! Where does the wording go then in this small coding? Surely the coding should look more like this:

    add_filter( 'inventor_metabox_description', function( $description, $metabox_id, $post_type )
               {     $branding_metabox_id = 'listing_' . $post_type . '_branding';     if( $branding_metabox_id == $metabox_id )
               {         return __( 'Add your business slogan and logo here. We recommend using a transparent png file at 150X150px or 150X65px depending on the orientation of your logo.', 'mytextdomain' );     }
    return $description; }, 10, 3 );

    It's like pulling teeth! I'm really frustrated with your level of help Erik sometimes, especially as you take soooo long to reply. It's such a shame as you have a great product and you really will lose sales if you don't improve your support. I don't want to seem ungrateful either, but not everyone is a coder like you, and your code above may as well be in Japanese. I have no idea how to implement it, so please can you provide me with the full code to be able to change the wording on that page!

    Thanks,

    Hi Erik,

    Are you going to answer my query this week please?

    Thanks,

    You are talking about different issue right now. My answer is to your original question:

    If you have another question, not directly related to this one, create another ticket please. Thank you.

    Ok Erik, I see now. Many thanks. Apologies for the confusion. Your solution is fine for now.

    Do you have any plans to make it easier for people to change their parent category in the future?

    Cheers,

    Krissie
